The men's course record of 65 is held by Guy Penrose of Hawke's Bay GC previously held by Norrie Culshaw, of Napier. 2002 u23 championships sore Penny Newbrook from Springfield Golf Club shot 4 sub rounds - 72, 73, 70, and 72. On Saturday 12 January she broke the course record with a round of 70. This record used to belong to Ingrid van Steenbergen our past greenkeeper. Ingrid had held the record of 71 since 1994. Our former Greens Superintendent, . Ingrid followed in the footsteps of her father, Michael, who was the club's first superintendent and played a major part in the original development of the course.
Although the course is long, many of the holes are only moderately undulating and the course has 37 bunkers and several water hazards. The men's course measures 6103m (Club) and 6436m (Championship) and has par of 73. For the women the length is 5417m and the par is 74.
