One of Hawke's Bay's finest Golf Courses is set in lovely tree-lined surrounds just off Marine Parade, Napier... a one wood from the sea and close to the City centre.
With the gentle sea breeze slipping through the warm summer sun, you will enjoy your rounds of golf on an eighteen-hole, 6132-metre course that, although flat and easy to walk, offers tightly sculptured tree-lined fairways and creative bunkering.
Our course is flat and easy to walk and offers tightly sculptured tree-lined fairways and creative bunkering.
Greens contain Poa Annua grass and are generally flat with subtle break. The average speed is maintained at between 8 - 10 feet. Sand is progressively introduced to our soil based greens at coring. Fairways are contoured and cut at between 14 - 20 mm. Tees are cut between 12 - 15 mm. Rough is always at a playable height without too many penalty areas and with an intermediate cut immediately off the fairway. Bunkers are filled with Perrys 2000 fine grain sand.
